quite interesting with the bird and the early industrial age buildings with a city in the sky. You are lacking shading and light on the building and depth in the background I think; that would have brought it all together.

Jeez, how did I miss commenting on this! Wonderful image, jumpstarts the mind into thinking of a story to go with it. Two small thing I would have added: a bit of motion to the bird, and perhaps let the rock blend a bit in to the walls. Just my opinion of course.
